The Heathkit Microprocessor Trainer model ET-6800 was a practical low cost learning system designed to teach microprocessor operation> programming. It was designed to accompany the EC-6800 Individual Learning Program on Microprocessors. All of the programming experiments supplied with the course were implemented on the Trainer.

The Trainer was designed as do-it-yourself kit and featured a cardboard box for a case.
